WELCOME TO DUMMER

Discover the Beautiful Village of Dummer in North Hampshire, England.

About Dummer

Dummer is located in North Hampshire, only a short distance from Winchester, which is renowned for its stunning Cathedral, charming cobbled streets, bustling markets, and lively entertainers, making it a notable neighbour to the village.

Dummer is situated within a designated conservation area, boasting 23 listed buildings. Among these is the Grade I listed All Saints' Church, a significant historical landmark that can trace its origins back to the Domesday Book.

Encircled by agricultural land, it benefits from its proximity to the large market town of Basingstoke. Basingstoke provides excellent transport links, including a railway station with fast, direct trains to London Waterloo, making the capital accessible in under an hour.

Dummer has a vibrant and supportive community, coming together regularly for a variety of events and activities. These include the Village Fete, Oktoberfest, theatrical plays, treasure hunts, communal lunches, and much more. Many of these gatherings take place at the historic village pub, the local brewery, and the village hall. For further details on upcoming events, please visit our Events Page.
